Our Community Beliefs

• The First Baptist Church is a Family Committed Community of people who have experienced the Grace of God.  Because of Grace shown to us, our church family is committed to sharing in an intentional and passionate way, the Grace of God through Jesus to all people.  We recognize our commission from God is to go into our community and around the world, making and equipping disciples who seek to serve God and others through the faithful use of their spiritual gifts.

• We are a community committed to the New Testament functions of the church, which include Christ Centered Worship, transforming Bible Study, authentic fellowship, relational evangelism, and holistic missions, all of which are done through seeking God's guidance through prayer.

• Our church family is committed to living out the commandments of Jesus Christ through continuous journey of loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, loving our neighbors as our self, and loving one another.  On our spiritual journey, we recognize we are not owners, but stewards of our time, money, Spiritual gifts, and our life.  We are committed to using each of these resources to fulfill the great commission.

• First Baptist Church seeks to be a community of Faith in which God is worshipped, community is strengthened, and disciples are made under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
