The First Baptist Church family is a committed community of people who have experienced the
grace of God.
Because of the grace shown to us, our church family is committed to sharing, in an intentional
and passionate way, the grace of God through Jesus Christ with all people.

We recognize our commission from God is to go into our community and around the world
making and equipping disciples who seek to serve God and others through the faithful use of
their Spiritual gifts.

Purpose
We are a community committed to the New Testament functions of the church, which include
Christ-centered worship, transforming Bible study, authentic fellowship, relational evangelism,
and holistic missions, all of which are done seeking God’s guidance through prayer.

Our church family is committed to living out the commandments of Jesus through a continuous
journey of loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, loving our neighbors as our
self, and loving one another.
On our spiritual journey, we recognize we are not owners but stewards of our time, money,
spiritual gifts, and our life, and we are committed to using each of these resources to fulfill the
Great Commission.
