First Baptist Church of Hope Mills

This worship service begins at 10:00 every Sunday morning.

Here we have the proclamation of the unwavering Word of God paired together with the unique mix of music and devotion that reflects who we are as a local gathering of Jesus' disciples. We worship Jesus - in His Spirit, by His Word. We know American culture is in a constant state of change and growth, and we believe it is our responsibility to bear an authentic witness from within it. We want to remove any barriers that might obstruct a person from embracing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, from worshiping Him freely, or from connecting with His Body, the church.  We sincerely want our worship to be genuine and our "church" to be accessible and meaningful to everyone.

Children's church and children's sunday school all rolled into one exciting event every Sunday morning! The focus of Kid's Zone is worshiping on a level children can identify with, discipling them through the Bible, and developing Christ like character. Music, drama, games, and educational activities all reinforce a biblical lesson. The kids begin the worship hour with their family then break away into the Kid's Zone for their own time of worship & learning.

Kid's Zone takes place each Sunday morning at 10:00, during the worship service.

Fellowship, discipleship, prayer, & evangelism are the core values that define Sunday school. Laugh with your friends, study the bible, support each other in prayer, and invite your neighbors. FBC Hope Mills offers traditional adult aged Sunday school classes every Sunday morning.

Classes begin at 9:00 and finish in time for the worship service at 10:00.

Worship is great! But it is among smaller groups of friends that we grow comfortable enough to take risks like asking questions and sharing personal experiences. Whether this happens in a class room or a living room, small groups are where disciples are made. Its simply easier to make a friend and get to know each other here. 

We have small groups that meet in homes and at the church on different nights throughout the week.

Young people today are in a precarious place. Change assaults each generation at an exponentially higher rate. The fixtures within our culture that support a Christian worldview are rapidly diminishing. There are three ways we can alter our young men & women's future: equip and reinforce sound biblical discipleship from the home, give our young adults the tools to engage their generation apologetically, and foster a healthy peer community made of relationships that are personally meaningful. That is our vision.

Our youth group meets regularly on Wednesday nights from 6:30 until 7:30, and gathers for other activities throughout the year.

Several things happen on Wednesday evenings. At 6:30 a mid-week Bible study and prayer meeting begins, the praise team rehearses, and often a small group meets. Activities wrap up at 7:30. Currently there are no children's activities on Wednesday evenings.
